Ali Rabiei, Minister
of Cooperatives, Labour and social welfare (Islamic Republic of Iran),
nominated by president Hasan Rohani and accepted by Parliament on 15
August 2013.
Rabiei
graduated from Tehran university majoring in Public administration and
received his PhD in Strategic Management, he is an associate professor
and Faculty Member of Payame Noor University.
Following
the Iran's Revolution, he became a member of Islamic Republican
Party and appointed as Manager of Labour Branch, Islamic republican
Party, from victory of Revolution up to 1983 later then he became one of
the former president advisors in social affairs from 1997 to 2005.
He
also served as Chief Executive of Supreme National Council’s
Secretariat and Head of Advertising Committee, 1993 - 2005 and
Secretary of Center for Administrative Corruption Prevention and Safety
Promotion, 2000-2005.
Dr. Ali Rabiei has three children and lives in Tehran.
