Development of Bilateral Cooperation with Mexico, Uruguay and Qatar

Director General of International Department of the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labour and Social Welfare, Ali Hossein Shahrivar, met with the new ambassadors of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Mexico, Qatar and Uruguay respectively, Mr. Hamidreza Dehghani Poodeh and Mr. Javad Heidari, and discussed the grounds for joint and bilateral cooperation between the above ministry with the mentioned countries.
In this meeting, the latest developments on joint cooperation between the MoCLSW with the line ministries in Mexico, Uruguay and Qatar in diverse areas were addressed and the need for further efforts and resolve in the context of developing mutual ties and cooperation with these countries was emphasized.
Also, the record of cooperation was reviewed and the need to follow up concluding social security agreement, exchange of skilled and professional workforce, facilitating issuance of visa for the Iranian workforce, holding online meetings between the joint working groups, cooperation in the fields of labour and employment, welfare, wellbeing, technical and professional training, setting the platform for export of the products of cooperatives and the companies affiliated to the social security investment companies as well as civil service pension fund to take a barter approach, consultation and coordination in the ILO system, implementing the agreement already signed and follow up of the joint plan of actions were highlighted and necessary decisions were taken.
